Vehicle Description Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible.
Finished in red with a black top and black interior, this Ghia was recently restored both cosmetically and mechanically to a very nice standard.
The restoration was completed a little over three years ago and the car has only been driven around 500 miles since so it still looks and feels very fresh.
Very good paint over a straight and sold body; new canvas convertible top.
Attractive alloy wheels with nearly new (2021 date code) tires.
Excellent bumpers, trim and glass.
Tidy underneath with no known rust issues.
Interior was likewise fully restored with new seat upholstery, carpets and door panels.
Steering wheel remains in good original condition.
A modern AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and aux input is fitted in the dash, with speakers mounted in the kickpanels.
The rear-mounted 1500cc flat four was rebuilt and is mated to a four-speed manual transmission.
Very nicely detailed engine compartment as seen in the photos.
This Ghia starts easily and runs and drives well.
Sold on a clean and clear Georgia title; restoration records accompany the sale.
