LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - Title 32

As a Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-11, you will:
Serve as an advisor to the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist on all Combat Service Support (CSS) STAMIS systems and Automated Logistical Programs. Exercise knowledge and oversight for all matters pertaining to the fielding and operation of STAMIS systems and Automated Logistical Programs. Utilize an extensive knowledge of logistics programs/operations and a clear understanding of automated systems to manage projects and programs for systems integration of CSS automation. Identify funding requirements to support CSSAMO SASMO operations, justifies and submits budget requirements for State operating budget, and executes funds received. Resolve issues and problems concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of logistical STAMIS administrative and systemic work operations. Utilize knowledge of logistics management principles, policies, and procedures to implement, establish, and execute operational plans and policies for the logistics STAMIS system. Serve as a Systems Administrator for all STAMIS systems and Automated Logistical Programs and as the technical expert within the state/territory responsible for providing technical and functional guidance for serviced STAMIS and Automated Logistical Programs. Establish procedures for the receipt, review, consolidation, and accounting of system problem reports and engineer change proposals (ECPs) submitted from other CSSAMO SASMO personnel and/or CSS STAMIS users to ensure subsequent distribution to NGB. Direct user-level assistance on STAMIS and Automated Logistical Program operations and automated systems utilization. Monitor the state automated CSS system network, determining fault isolation, problem resolution, and performance reporting or coordinates with appropriate official for resolution. Coordinate with the Deputy Chief of Staff Information Management (DCSIM) on identifying, developing, establishing and maintaining CSS systems interfaces with and/or CSS utilization of the Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS) as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience:
Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. Specialized
Experience:
Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
