Position Profile: The Supply Chain Administrator will work with the Shipping Coordinator and Shipping Manager in executing day to day functions in the Shipping Department. The daily functions include records maintenance, entering shipments into the system and providing support with work order launches. Communication and coordination within the supply chain team and with the operational team are key components for this position.
Essential Functions: This is a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities, and is not all inclusive. Incumbent(s) may and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.
Maintains production records
Enters shipments into Customer Portals at time of shipment
Assists in building and issuing Pack Lists and BoL's as needed
Monitors Finished Good status to identify product available for shipment
Scans and maintains all daily documentation for the Shipping Process and assists with invoicing of shipped loads
Supports the Supply Chain in launching orders for raw materials, forging, machining, etc. to ensure launch schedules are met
Reviews weekly launch schedule to ensure on-time delivery of process routers
Communicates with plant personnel and vendors to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays
Adheres to and promotes all company safety rules and requirements and attends required training and/or meetings
Regular attendance is an essential function of the position
Actively look at ways to improve the processes and encourage peers to do the same
Performs all other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Written Expression The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. Written Comprehension The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Production and Processing Knowledge or ability to learn of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Reading Comprehension Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Critical Thinking Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Oral Comprehension The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Deductive Reasoning The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
Microsoft Office Suite The ability to understand, navigate, manipulate and create, Excel, Word, PowerPoint documents as well as the Outlook platform.
Physical Demands:
Occasionally required to wear common Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats.
Continuously required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or shipping.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain from an accredited institution.

years of experience working with Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.) .
3 years of experience in MRP/ERP/supply chain software (Oracle, Tropos and SAP).
Certifications in APICS (Advancing Productivity, Innovation and Competitive Success), CIPM (Certified in Production and Planning Management), CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) and CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are desirable.
