Performs a variety of tasks within the warehouse operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveyor.
Marks materials with identifying information.
Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
Attends safety trainings to learn how to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Prepares and tickets merchandise.
Pick and pack based on distribution.
Induction of conveyable merchandise to sorter.
Lifts and prepares merchandise to tables.
Material handling such as empty box replenishment and corrugated bailing.
Material handling of large items on pallets.
Manual floor loading of trailer.

Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Regularly required to:
stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
The employee may be required to climb or balance using proper protective equipment.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 35 pounds, 50 pounds occasionally using team lift techniques.
