We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our teamThis is a permanent role where you will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of civil engineering projectsYou will be an integral part of our team, collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of qualityThe successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a particular focus on land development, site design, and infrastructure systems
Responsibilities:
Leading and managing all aspects of civil engineering projects from initial planning and feasibility studies through to completion.
Preparing and reviewing engineering plans, designs, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Performing site design and land development tasks, including grading, paving, and drainage design.
Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water modeling, and preparing related reports.
Designing and overseeing the construction of wastewater, storm water, and water distribution systems, including gravity systems, lift stations, force mains, and low-pressure systems.
Coordinating with surveyors, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle, and implementing strategies to mitigate project risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, with a focus on land development and site design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, particularly in relation to paving, grading, drainage, and infrastructure systems.
Experience with hydrology, water modeling, and preparing hydraulic reports.
Familiarity with wastewater, storm water, and water distribution systems, including gravity systems, lift stations, force mains, and low-pressure systems.
Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
