We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Project Manager to join our engineering teamThis role is perfect for someone passionate about civil engineering, project management, and land developmentThe successful candidate will have a strong background in the engineering industry, with a focus on civil projectsThey will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our projects, from the initial planning stages through to completionThis includes ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetThe Civil Project Manager will also be responsible for managing the relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of civil engineering projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Design and manage site development projects including grading, drainage, paving, storm water management systems, water and wastewater systems, and lift stations.
Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for designing and drafting civil engineering projects.
Conduct site surveys, hydrological and hydraulic reports, and water modeling.
Manage project budget, including tracking project costs and ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
Ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure that all project requirements are met.
Troubleshoot and solve project related issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in civil engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, especially in areas such as land development, construction, project planning, and surveying.
Experience with water distribution systems, gravity systems, lift stations, force mains, low pressure systems, and storm water management.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
