Assistant Project Manager
Now hiring an Assistant Project Manager in Savannah, GA! Trillium Construction is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for an opportunity in Savannah, Georgia! Our client, a leader in the industrial construction industry, is looking to add to their team in their Savannah office! As an Assistant Project Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, organizing, and management of day to day operations for an ongoing project involving Civil, Structural Steel, Pipe, and Mechanical work.
This is a contract to hire role with the possibility of being hired on directly! Pay is DOE and ranges between $30/hr to $43/hr for entry-level experience and $45/hr to $60/hr
for senior level experience plus per diem when traveling.
Duties:
-Participates in pre/post-project design meetings and attends customer/site coordination meetings, as applicable.
-Provides support to Project Managers when orders have been received to assist in maintaining and/or improving project margins.
-Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction schedule(s).
-Review project documents and specifications to accurately develop baseline schedules which include all required dates, activities, and milestones.
-Perform progress schedule updates to include comprehensive reporting and narratives.
-Update trackers daily on-site progress utilizing systems in place(database) -Breakdown project estimate to baseline earned averages versus the bid.
-Resource management and reporting.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Drafting (AutoCAD) preferred OR equivalent experience.
-Primavera - P6 experience preferred but not required.
-Understanding of MS Office products, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
-Proficient in reading and understanding architectural, civil, structural, piping, and electrical diagrams preferred.
-Demonstrated ability in drafting/CAD, computer skills, estimating/pricing, and project management preferred.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-BIM software experience is a plus! -Ability to travel as needed.
