Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 21, 25 (&/or 23), 91, and 135 Certification Experience relative for Cabin Interiors Familiarity with DO-160 requirements Familiarity with EWIS Certification Familiarity with aircraft STCs procedures Familiarity with test plans and reports Familiarity in mechanical system design & separation requirements Preferred candidate will have:
AutoCad, Capitol Harness &/or Mentorgraphics Catia V5 basic navigation experience.
Familiarity with aircraft cabin satellite communication (Inmarsat and Iridium), security and entertainment systems.
Experience with power distribution, lighting, switching, wire sizing and routing Experience with systems development, layout, logic and wiring diagrams Background in create and analyze electrical designs in both 2D & 3D environments Additional Functions:
Be responsible for Electrical Systems Engineering certification deliverables and schedule within established scope.
Adhere to Gulfstream safety rules and procedures.
Apply Gulfstream regulations and policies to daily business activities.

Utilizing creative and mature engineering judgment, manages complex engineering problems by directing subordinate employees.

Develops and administers organizational unit schedules, tasks, and deliverables, sets performance requirements, estimates work scopes, ensures quality of delivered product, and monitors budget performance.
Manages directly, or through subordinates, employees that perform similar or related tasks; establishes performance expectations, conducts performance appraisals, salary management, and participates in development, training, and counseling of employees.
Responsible for establishing and executing objectives that support both short and long term goals.
Conducts briefings for senior level management and conducts technical meetings for internal/external contacts and customers.
Acts as an advisor to subordinate supervisors or staff members to meet schedules and resolve complex technical or operational problems.

Directly participates in functional projects; must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
Additional Functions:
Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies.

Perform other duties as assigned.
