Therapist (MA/MSW) - Per Diem
Responsibilities Coastal Harbor Health Systems is currently seeking Per Diem (As needed) Therapists to join our team:
Assess and counsel residents regarding psychological or emotional problems and develop and implement therapeutic treatment plan by performing the following duties.
Develop, implement, and administer therapeutic treatment plan by performing psychosocial assessments and compile all pertinent documents to facilitate treatment plan.
Participate in treatment team sessions with completion of all monthly treatment plan reviews.
Observe patients for abnormal physical or mental behavior and monitor progress with components of treatment plan.
Conduct and document individual and group therapy sessions according to treatment plans.
Contact and schedule counseling sessions with family, significant others, and involved agencies.
Arrange for family visits off and on facility sites.
Act as liaison with family and other agencies to reunify patient with family and reintegrate back into community.
Perform daily tasks of counseling by instructing patients in progress charting.
Respond to any emergency situation involving patients in treatment.
Participate as a team member by cooperating with staff and demonstrate compromise and expression of opinions as appropriate.
Attend staff meetings as required and perform duties as a positive role model for patients and colleagues.
Utilize chain of command in all aspects of program and follow organizations policies and procedures.
Perform community relations by ensuring all written and verbal information is clear, concise, legible, and accurate.
Communicate and cooperate with families, relevant external personnel, and staff members.
Document all external and internal contacts and relay patient information according to company and governmental guidelines maintaining appropriate confidentialityContact Information:

Master's Degree Required in Psychology,Social Work,or Mental Health Counseling Licensed or Licensed eligible one to two years related experience and/or training preferred Recommended Skills Assessments Medical Emergency Mental Health Counseling Psychology Social Work Psychotherapy Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
