DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and driven Area Director of Sales for our Aloft Hotel/Fairfield Inn & Suites (located in downtown Savannah) and our Homes2 Suites in Pooler, GA.
The Aloft Savannah Downtown Historic District is a pet-friendly, tech-savvy hotel that blends sleek design with modern style for sophisticated travelers.
Our Fairfield Inn & Suites offers an on-site bar, outdoor courtyard with cozy fires pits.
Both properties are near City Market and the Historic District and are within walking distance to restaurants, museums, art galleries and shops that make Savannah so special.
Our Home2Suites is 3 miles from the Hilton Head International Airport and is approximately 15 miles from Savannah's Historic District.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, forward-thinking leader, that is service-oriented, motivated, passionate, and is collaborative.
The Area Director of Sales will have a deep understanding of how to develop strong relationships with customers, how to effectively prospect, and how to positively and creatively lead teams.
The Area Director of Sales will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
Provide the highest quality of service to our customers at all times.
Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
Guide sales and marketing efforts as well as advertising tasks, public relations and administrative reporting.
Define and implement sales and marketing activities according to the Marketing Plan.
Prioritize, document, and organize work to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Prior Director of Sales Experience, 5
years of hospitality sales experience.
Savannah downtown market knowledge and a proven sales track record.
Experience and success in leading sales teams.
Ability to analyze financial and competitive data to make informed decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Good understanding of the expectations of brand standards.
