Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Under guidance of the senior Enterprise Data Solutions staff, students will be assigned to teams associated with data management, data governance, Business Intelligence or Analytics initiatives
1. Ensures that the delivered business process provides the appropriate functionality to run the business by learning and applying knowledge of aircraft processes and the business.
2. Identifies where technical improvements can be made and works with Long Term EDS team to create the business case for each initiative.
3. Responsible for recommending improvements in functionality.
4. Develops technical specification along with the development team to address any changes once they are approved.
5. Takes moderate to complex business requirements and models them in BI/BW/BOBJ. Learns and applies expertise on details concerning technical requirements.
6. Must have basic experience with SQL .
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently seeking a bachelor's or a master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology , Computer Science , Statistics or related field.
GPA Requirement: 3.0 or higher and must be listed on the submitted resume.
Preferred Skills:
1. Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts
2. Basic understanding of Business Intelligence and Analytics
