Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors in CS, IS, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Project management experience preferred.Minimum five years in an IT/IS environment. A Masters degree may be used to offset one year of experience; PhD may offset two years of experience. Position Purpose:
Under minimal supervision, assists Project Managers with planning and executing projects according to IT and business requirements, deadlines and budget. The Project Analyst II is responsible for assisting the Project Managers with providing day-to-day coordination to ensure quality throughout the projects life cycle.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. Assists Project Managers with development of project plans (project work scope, task descriptions, budget estimates and manpower requirements) to meet objectives and commitments. 2. Assists Project Managers with maintenance and monitoring of master project schedule and budget. 3. Assists in implementing project standards and processes for all IT projects, including process/documentation evaluation and improvement. 4. Updates process manuals and other documentation as required. 5. Assists Project Manager with tracking projected vs actual project performance. 6. Assists with development and execution of enterprise-wide communication plans related to milestones via status reports, and presentations suitable for all levels of management and staff. 7. Maintains lessons learned database. 8. Manages small/medium complexity projects under minimal supervision using standard Project Management protocols. 9. Develops project documents through work with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and technical and customer contacts.
Additional Functions: 1. Maintains current knowledge of technical and process developments in the project management arena. 2. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to work well with managers, directors, a diverse department, and a variety of internal and external customers. 7. Identifies/escalates issues as necessary. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 9. Excellent presentation design and delivery skills.
