ERP Assistant Program Manager in GAC Savannah

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of appropriate education and/or experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Ten (10) years program management experience in business administration, finance manufacturing or engineering. Five (5) years progressive experience in a continuous improvement culture by leading or consulting.
Position Purpose:
Develop and implement strategic and tactical objectives for Enterprise Resource Planning solution. Position represents a significant impact on future strategic business objectives and supports Continuous Improvement (CI) within the corporation. Develops and coordinates program plans and delivery methods for coordination across the corporation. Serve as a primary point of contact for all issues during the period between realization and post go-live support.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. Monitors project standards, project scope, risk identification and mitigation plans 2. Works with contracted resources and ensures resources are utilized in most efficient manner 3. Reports out ERP program status, project activities, milestones and deliverables. 4. Manages change requests and quality reviews 5. Responsible for escalating unresolved issues by interfacing with executive steering committee and senior management 6. Maintains project budget 7. Assist in development of program master schedules.
Additional Functions: 1. Performs other duties as assigned
Other Requirements: 1. Demonstrated team building experience and an ability to build collaborative relationships with others. 2. Certified Project Manager (CPM) status and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgM) certification preferred. 3. Requires business knowledge of Aircraft Industry Production, Engineering, Quality, Material & Service and Support operations. Requires a detailed understanding of Program/Project Management processes & procedures.
