At Port Wentworth, Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians (E&I Tech's) work in a Safety First environment supported by a high performance work system. E&I Techs are responsible for diagnostics, repair, maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and electrical control systems. This includes the troubleshooting all electrical, instrumental and process malfunctions, including mechanical power transmission equipment and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. E&I techs diagnose, repair and overhaul automatic control valves, sensors, positioners, actuators, electrical AC/DC systems and related systems.

E&I Techs must maintain accurate records and data while building positive working relationships with all team members. This position requires the ability to support a 24/7 operation with shift, weekend and holiday scheduled work time as required. Walking, standing, crouching, lifting, twisting, climbing and reaching are required to complete essential job functions.

REQUIREMENTS:
Our technicians are self-starters with a high degree of technical knowledge who is eager to flourish in a team environment. We require a minimum of 4 (four) years experience in each of the following areas:

Industrial environments (plant operations, maintenance, utilities or related);
Installation, repair and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment;
VFD/s, control systems, electrical protective devices with knowledge of calibration procedures and equipment including Fluke and Transcat;
Process control computers, PLC and networking devices, with Allen Bradley experience preferred.

Technicians must also have a working knowledge of maintenance systems, with a strong preference for SAP/R3 experience, working knowledge of NFPA70E requirements and limitations and a high school diploma, with a college degree preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
